How It Works
Car Price Tracker follows what cars actually sell for, by recording their asking price every time we see it. Two sites are covered: Auto Trader UK for modern used cars, and Car & Classic for classics.
Browse, and it's tracked. With the Browser Extension installed (Chrome or Firefox), any listing you open is added here and its price recorded.
Open a Car & Classic search and every car on the page is imported at once — then we keep walking the rest of that search on our own.
Prices are re-checked daily in the background, so a history builds up whether or not anyone revisits the listing.
See the market move — price history charts, the biggest drops, and how long cars sit before selling.
Star a car to get an email when its price drops or the listing ends.
Community powered: the more people running the extension, the better — we all benefit from shared price data.
Classic listings are often priced in euros, and mileage may be quoted in kilometres. Both are shown as the seller listed them, never silently converted — so rankings and comparisons use percentage change, which means the same thing in any currency.
